In order to meet the requirements of sustainable development and the actual needs of each steel works, our company developed a kind of reusable container bracket for transporting steel coil in 2011. It can replace the original one-off bracket to greatly reduce the cost of transportation, to conserve resources, and to achieve goals of sustainable development.
This kind of container bracket is suitable for a wide range of freight, it is not only applicable to transporting steel coil, but also applicable to the roll, strip steel, wire rope, cable coil, aluminum coil and other cylindrical freight.
According to our survey, the freight mainly include hot-rolled, cold-rolled and hot-galvanized steel coils and strip steel. The weight per roll is generally in a range of 3t-35t and the diameter is generally from 700mm to 2250mm. In recent years, Transportation of steel coils usually use vertical loading and horizontal loading these two methods.
In the past years, for the existing horizontal loading method of transportation, we use straw pallet as cushion, but it belongs to disposable products, which cannot be recycled. In recent years, due to the lack of straw resource, the price of straw pallet is increasingly expensive, moreover, the processing quality is more difficult to control, which may lead to a security risk during transportation.
Ministry of Railways held a special meeting in Taiyuan in May 2011, at the meeting, It was requested that according to the disadvantages of straw pallet, we need to eliminate this kind of method as soon as possible. Then the plan of container bracket provided by our company emerged as the times require, it has already passed the certification of Ministry of Railways. After three years of brand promotion, now we have cooperated with plenty companies, such as Guangxi Liuzhou Iron & Steel (Group) Company, Xinyu Iron & Steel Company, Chongqing Iron & Steel (Group) Company, Baotou Iron & Steel (Group) Company, Hunan Hualinglianyuan Iron & Steel Co. Ltd. Sichuan Southwest Stainless Steel Co. Ltd. Pangang Xichang Iron & Steel Co. Ltd. etc.
On the operation side, our work will be divided into three phases, the first phase is that the turnover rate of multipoint loopback can not below 1.4 per month, which has been already completed in 2015. The second phase is to further expand the national steel market, business covers half of the country's major steel producers in 2019. The third phase is to cover all those major steel producers in 2023, to achieve a no geographical restrictions and complete transportation chain.
